The Background
DSM is a rapidly growing technology firm based in Lakeland, FL that has provided innovative IT solutions for data protection, disaster recovery, managed services, and more for businesses and government entities all across Florida for 30 years. More recently, DSM has expanded with locations in Atlanta and Phoenix to allow them to continue to serve customers all over the US.
The Problem
As DSM continues to grow, they need to continue to attract employees who embody the same incredible work ethic they have provided their customers with for over three decades. Additionally, we wanted to ensure that when potential candidates applied for a position, that they knew whether or not they would be a good culture-fit with DSM, something integral to DSM’s DNA.
The Solution
Having worked with DSM for quite some time now, when they mentioned that they were looking to expand their team and maintain culture and excellence – we pitched them on a recruiting video that would allow them to do just that – spread awareness of employment opportunities while also allowing potential candidates to see if they were a good fit before they even filled out an application or visited the office in person.
We spent a day on-site filming interviews with employees of various tenures and job descriptions, as well as filming B-Roll around their office enabling prospective employees to see what a normal day looks like. Not surprisingly for a company focused on culture – our shoot day happened to fall on one of their company game days! We were able to capture some of the fun which you’ll see in the video below! DSM has since continued to grow and we’re excited to continue our relationship with them in the future.
